
Carol Lynch
President, Sandoz US, Head of North America
Carol Lynch is President of Sandoz US and Head of North America. In this role, she leads Sandoz’ largest commercial and country organization – the United States – which is responsible for over 35% of Sandoz’ global revenue. She also oversees Sandoz commercial operations in Canada. In addition to serving on the US Country Leadership Team, Carol is a member of the Sandoz Executive Committee.
Prior to this role, Carol was the Global Head of Biopharmaceuticals at Sandoz, responsible for the development, manufacturing and commercialization of biosimilars, including its contract manufacturing business. Prior to joining Sandoz in 2014, Carol held a number of Commercial and Development leadership positions in Novartis Pharmaceuticals both globally and in country organizations, including the United States.
Carol is a long serving executive sponsor of D&I and was a leader in D&I when Novartis was named #1 (2014 and 2015) and #2 (2016) by DiversityInc. She currently serves as executive sponsor of Women in Leadership in Sandoz globally, is the Executive Sponsor of the GLOW (Gay, Lesbians and Others at Work) employee network group and models leading inclusively every day in every interaction. Carol was recognized early in her career as one of the “women worth watching” (2012) and this was confirmed when Carol was voted 8th most influential list in Medicine Maker in 2016.
Carol is Vice Chair of the Association for Accessible Medicines in the US. She holds a BSc Honours degree in Zoology from University of Sheffield, UK., and a Diploma in Marketing from University of Kingston, Surrey.
